I’m a current Channel Marketing Associate for the writing instrument and art supplies company Pentel of America. My role focuses on many different channels, my primary channel being Mass Market for retail. Alongside, Content Creation, Freelance Illustration, Digital Marketing, and inspiring self expression for other creators!

However, my journey and story with Pentel started long before I became an employee of the company! Growing up with this beloved brand and utilizing its tools ultimately led me to discovering my passion for illustration, comic arts, and storytelling. Drawing just felt “right”, as a source of self expression and sharing my heart with the world—even more so using my trusty Twist Erase mechanical pencil! 

Towards my Senior year of college at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I became a Pentel Student Ambassador, promoting the brand through the way I know best— Authenticity and Art! Utilizing creative marketing tactics and my social media presence, I was able to generate a strong brand awareness on my campus, and my art student community. I even had the wonderful honor opportunity of visiting Pentels Japan HQ where I met our company President, made possible by my now team members. It was an honor to experience the company from a global perspective and brought me to where I stand now.
